Climbing Out

Each one of us is going to find ourselves falling into a hole that we can't seem to get out. The devil will be there throwing more dirt into the hole making it even harder for us to escape our problems. Each and everytime we try to climb out, we fall down and seem to hurt ourselves more.

We try to get up , but we often find ourselves trying to do it alone. We can't seem to get out. Each time we think we have a chance, the devil takes his shovel and loads it up with dirt and throws it back in our faces. We fall once again landing hard and knocking the wind out of us.

We eventually start to give up on life, we think that no matter what we do we're going to fail at whatever we try to start. That is where we need to seek the Lord. We can't do anything alone in our lives, so why should we even think to try and climb out of that hole alone.

We need to call on Jesus, he will reach down and lend his hand towards us. He will give us the strength to stand strong against the devil and take charge of our actions. Slowly we find the strength and climb out of the hole. The devil continues to throw dirt on us, but we resist his attacks, we are strong and we eventually make it to the top walking out with a smile on our face. We thank the Lord for everything that he has done. We must continue to lean on his understanding, not our own. It is when we do that that we reach success in our lives. There is no other way, take the hand of the Lord and step out of that hole.

One Equals a Thousand

There isn't much time left for an elderly man, he only have a few months left. He has lived a wonderful and exciting life. He has so many things to be thankful for, nothing to regret and everything to look forward to.

He starts to talk to others at church in front of everyone about his life experiences. He tells about how his life has been truly changed by the Lord. He feels that the Lord has opened new doors for him, shown him things that he truly never would of imagined. He didn't lean on his own understanding, but trusted fully in the Lord. His ways were changed and his life was made meaningfull. He asked the audience a very important question.

He said, "Can a man save the entire world? Can he save every man, woman and child?" Some people shook their heads, others disagreed. It was a mix, the man said that no one could save the entire world, but through our actions and our words we can reach a large audience.

He said, that each one of us has the tool and the gift to reach one another. What happens he said is that each and everyone of us will tell someone else. After a while more and more people know about this mans life experience. So in a way, one person can save a lot of people through his words. As impossible as it may seem, it is possible. He knew that many would go and tell others, it made him very happy down in his heart to know that he could make a difference.

A lot of us are going to think that we can't do anything, but that is just the devil trying to put us down. Reach out to those who are in need, open your hearts and offer them love and forgiveness. Even if you don't think that it will make any difference, it will make Jesus Smile.
